The opening night of Antone's famed blues club in Austin, Texas featured the great Clifton Chenier. The Louisiana accordion master was a master showman, bluesman extraordinarie, and also the brother in law of Lightnin' Hopkins!
I was fortunate to see and hear Clifton many times and he always put on a great show-sometimes playing dance sets lasting 2 hours without a break. Here's some down home footage capped by his accompanying himself with a water pump handle!
