I saw Wendy and the Plasmatics in SF and helped set up the stage with the car they blew up. I even had to make a quick run to the hardware store for some electrical tape that Wendy used to cover-however briefly-her nipples.
I'm surprised there isn't a bigger cult for Wendy-she died before age 50 of a self inflicted gunshot wound. At any rate she's the real deal punk metal shock rock!
