I first heard of Eva Cassidy via my pal Mac Cridlin who played with her in the D.C. area where she spent her career. She was a genius vocalist and song interpretor whose genuine humility and beauty shine through in each performance.
Tragically she died a virtual unknown at age 33. Several years after her death she began gaining recognition in England and these clips tell the story. I can't recommend her music too highly.
